djelloul marbrook75 years old Djelloul Marbrook's first book of poems, Far From Algiers, won the Stan and Tom Poetry Prize in 2007 and was published by Kent State University Press. His story, Artists Hill, adapted from an unpublished novel, won first prize in fiction from Literal Latté in 2008. He is a retired newspaper reporter and editor and lives with his wife and colleague, Marilyn, in the mid-Hudson Valley of New York. His blog, djelloulmarbrook.com, offers literary, cultural and political commentary.
